Anders Eskildsen

CV

I am a full-stack developer with a background in music research and university teaching. I like to take a problem all the way from first analysis through architecture and code to release and operation.

Currently I work at AU IT, the IT department of Aarhus University, where I build web applications for students and faculty. My work covers the whole stack from PostgreSQL/MSSQL databases through robust and resilient .NET services to modern and accessible user interfaces in React and TypeScript.

Before I became a full time software developer, I spent more than a decade at Aarhus University and Aalborg University. I did research on interactive music technology, taught programming and creative coding, and coordinated degree programmes. In my own time I build open source tools for music and web publishing, and I teach children to code as a volunteer with Coding Pirates.
